 Shock Grip Rules & Regulations

  • All competitors must:

    • Be 18+ years old

    • Sign a medical and liability waiver

    • Pass a health screening

Competitors with heart conditions, pacemakers, epilepsy, or similar conditions are prohibited from competing.

Safety equipment (arm pads, grip wraps) must remain intact throughout the match. Referees may stop or reset matches at any time.

  • Each match has:

    • 1 Primary Referee (enforces rules, declares winner)

    • 2 Shock Refs (positioned at sides, manage pacing and shock delivery)

Ref decisions are final and unreviewable.

  • Matches are 1v1 and held on the Maxton 1™ arm wrestling table.

Each match is best of 3 rounds unless otherwise announced.

    • Rounds are initiated and ended by the primary referee only.

    Each round ends in:

    • Pin (wrist touches pad)

    • Slip (off grip without contact)

    • Foul or Disqualification by hitting the Coward Red™ alarm button- IMMEDIATE EXCOMMUNICATION.

  • The loser of each round receives a 5000V low-amperage jolt via the Maxton 1™ table. Shocks are controlled by designated referees and initiated only upon:

    • A confirmed loss

    • A foul worthy of penalty

Shocks are short in duration, non-lethal, and safety-tested for use in sport entertainment.

  • Automatic loss or warning issued for:

    • Early start / false start

    • Lifting the elbow

    • Illegal shoulder movement or blocking

    • Letting go intentionally mid-match

    • Unsportsmanlike behavior (taunting outside persona, unsafe conduct)

Three fouls = automatic match loss.
Some infractions (especially those that add drama but not danger) may be penalized with a show shock at
    ref’s discretion.

    • Fighters are encouraged to build a persona (heel, hero, wildcard, etc.) for showmanship.

    • All personas and performances must avoid hate speech, discrimination, or violent rhetoric.

    • Signature entrances and theme music are permitted and encouraged with prior approval.

    • Trash talk is expected — crossing the line gets you a penalty shock.

  • Competing in Shock Grip™ requires:

    • Passing an entry evaluation

    • Attending a fighter workshop

    • Maintaining active membership status (paid tiers to be announced)

Members receive access to event invites, merch perks, and media promotion.
