What Does a Shock Grip™ Ref Do?
-
Our ref crew runs the match from every angle:
-
The Head Referee oversees grip checks, fouls, resets, and the final match call.
-
Two Shock Refs flank the table, enforcing boundaries and holding Shock Grip™ “shock rods” — ready to deliver crowd-thrilling 3000 V when a foul or penalty is called. There is no escape.
-
All refs sync with the match operator to control the pacing, crowd engagement, and safety.

They enforce the rules and control the voltage.

Calm under pressure and quick-thinking
-
Familiar with competitive arm wrestling rules (or willing to learn fast)
-
Strong communicators with a sharp eye for fouls

Physically confident and stage-aware — this is as much theater as it is sport
-
Comfortable managing custom gear like the Maxton 1™ table and shock rods
-
You’ll be trained on safety protocols, table setup, hand signals, pacing, and dramatic cue timing. This isn't just officiating — it’s voltage management and weapon control.
